I submitted a potential patch to add hoverIntent to the new Admin Bar a few weeks ago, but haven’t seen any movement on it in a long time. It’s still awaiting review.

I was lucky to find something fairly simple that didn’t have a patch, I think. Most of the stuff that needs patches is way out of my league!
